Hall of Famer Joe Cronin was a generous man. But he could only extend himself so far. This letter was in response to a request by a fan for a team-signed 1973 A.L. All-Star baseball. While Cronin wasn't able to fulfill the autograph inquiry, he did sign the bottom of this letter, on American League stationery, in blue ballpoint.
