In football fashion, Steve Delong dressed for success. Lets see, when he played at Tennessee he donned burnt orange durene jerseys, then switched to those unmistakable powder blue unis sported by the Chargers. His football career culminated in the Windy City where he wore a durene jersey, complete with a name on back.
Delong wore the offered durene jersey when he played for the Bears in 1971. The vintage is deduced from the fact an elongated nameplate is situated on the reverse. The use is outstanding as four team repairs appear on front. Each of the identifiers is carefully crafted in two-color tackle twill. Puckering and fraying are both evident on the pullover. The team notched the front neckline for a more comfortable fit. Sewn in the tail is a Wilson manufacturer's label with no size indicated. Minor staining is apparent in the tail. Jersey has been graded A9.5 with a 1/2 point deduction for light spotting.
