Cliff Hardy enjoyed a cup of coffee with the Chicago Bears and appeared in but one game. Still, he can say he played in the Windy City for the storied franchise.
This size "44" jersey was worn by Hardy during his one year with da Bears in 1971. Remnants of where "HARDY" one stood are evident on back. Our guess is this jersey could have also been worn by a camp hopeful at some point as the Bears were thrifty and didn't just discard and jersey.
Each set of numbers is executed in two-color tackle twill. Sewn in the tail is a lone Wilson size "44" tag. Embedded sleeve stripes accentuate both sleeve ends.
