The Chicago Bears have always boasted a good linebacking corps. The Hall of Fame is littered with men who called the Windy City home during their gridiron days.

The 1970s was a decade of transition for the Da Bears. Some of their stars were aging or battling debilitating injuries - Gale Sayers and Dick Butkus. Butkus still headlined the linebacking group which also included Doug Buffone and Ross Brupbacher. The trio was affectionately known as The Killer Bees. Receivers suddenly had a case of alligator arms when the three aforementioned defenders was lurking.

Brupacher donned this home jersey during his days with the Bears. The size "46" cotton pullover is manufactured by Wilson and shows decent use as one repair is visible near the front "3" numeral. All of the identifiers are crafted in two-color tackle twill and show puckering and softening. The Bears sleeve stripes are embedded as well. Sewn in the tail is a Wilson size tag. "BRUPACHER" is spaced across a nameplate on back. The jersey has earned its rightful grade of a perfect A10.
