Born on October 23, 1940, in Três Corações, Brazil, soccer legend Pelé became a superstar with his performance in the 1958 World Cup. Pelé played professionally in Brazil for two decades, winning three World Cups along the way, before joining the New York Cosmos late in his career.
Shirt was originally part of the collection of Brazil team masseur and is being offered for the first time. Shirt is yellow cotton body shell, with green ribbed sleeves and neck opening. Supplied by the Athleta (tag in collar), the shirt compares favorably to period images of Pele. Shirt shows heavy game wear with a vintage signature on the front. “10” on reverse.
