1970s Muhammad Ali Training Camp Personally Used Speed Bag (LOA John Ramsey, MEARS LOA)

Speed, power, personality- Muhammad Ali had it all. There are many stars in the world, but Ali was certainly “The Greatest”. Offered is a black hand speed 13” bag with original laces and leather looped hanger. Shows heavy gym wear from the repeated introduction of Ali’s fist to its leather surface. Bag originated from John Ramsey. Per his letter, he states, “I, John Ramsey, am a longtime friend of Muhammad Ali. I am a former Louisville morning show radio personality and am currently a member of the Muhammad Ali Center board.” About the speedbag, Ramsey goes on to state, “I do attest that this is an original speed bag that was used by Muhammad Ali during his career to train for fights. The bag was given to me personally by a member of Ali’s camp and I have had it in my possession ever since. Signed, John Ramsey.” Important relic documented to the career of Muhammad Ali.
