Harvey Marlatt was a journeyman shooting guard hailing from Eastern Michigan University. The 6’3”, l85 pound Marlatt played 3 seasons with the Pistons. Offered for this lot is a 1970-73 Detroit Pistons home shirt worn by Marlatt during his career in Detroit.
The simple but classic style featured a white full durene body shell trimmed with red, white, and blue ribbed elastic. “PISTONS” and MARLAT are blue tackle twill with a heavy red stitching which forms a red outline to the team name. His uniform number “26” is red tackle twill applied with the same style blue sewing.
The Sand Knit (size 42) tagging is correct for the era. An additional Grisworld Sporting Goods tag is also applied. Heavy game wear with one point deducted for restored name on back. MEARS A9. (75C0250)
