1969 Bobby Valentine Los Angeles Dodgers Home Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Los Angeles Dodgers home jersey dating to circa Bobby Valentine's 1969 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. Spalding tag sewn in collar with laundry, size 42 & set 1 1969 tags sewn to the tail along with an embroidered "69" while "Dodgers", number 2 and a replacement MLB 100th Anniversary patch are also sewn to the white flannel jersey. Valentine was the only player to wear number 2 for the Dodgers in 1969 appearing in five September games as a pinch runner. With the removal & replacement of the MLB 100th Anniversary patch it is likely that the jersey saw extended organizational use following the 1969 season. Moderate wear shown with some spot staining.
