Carol Vadnais was an All-Star and Stanley Cup champion during his remarkable 17-year career. This stick served the defenceman with the Oakland Seals in 1969-70. His teammates signed the Sherwood stick in black felt tip. Those who signed include: Hampson, Ingarfield, Vadnais, Hicke, Jarrett, Roberts, Ehman, Ferguson, O'Donoghue, Muloin, Featherstone, Smith, Worthy, Hastert and four more.

"5" and "Vadnais" are stamped near the handle. Athletic tape is secured around the handle and there is a strip of black tape near the blade.
