Wilson was the primary helmet supplier for the Chicago Bears until the 1970s, when Riddell entered the fray.
This headgear was worn by Marty Amsler who called the Windy City home for 1967 and '69. Decent use is shown on the Wilson headgear with numerous surface scratches and gouges from Sunday conflicts. A single-color white Bears "C" is captured on the sides. One of the facemask clips is severed but the others are firmly in-place.
Foam padding is still visible on the inside and the original jaw pads are present. A Wilson warning sticker is placed in one of the inner ear holes.
