1967-68 Rudy Kuechenberg Chicago Bears Game Worn Durene Jersey w/ 2 Team Repairs (MEARS A9)

The Bears had a Hall of Famer go unnoticed in their own backyard and even employed his brother at the time. Bob Kuchenberg was drafted by Philly in 1969 but quit during training camp. He rebounded with the Chicago Owls of the semi-pro Continental Football League that season.

The following season Kuchenberg officially began his Hall of Fame career by signing as a free agent with Miami.

Bob's big brother, Rudy, donned this Bears durene jersey in 1967 and '68. He couldn't have worn it in '69 as there are no remants of the NFL 50 years patch. A few runs are apparent on the cheesecloth material on back. The numbers are manufactured in two-color tackle twill, sleeves are 3/4 length and elbow reinforcements are present.

Sewn in the inner tail is a King O'Shea size "48" label. The jersey has been graded MEARS A9 becuase of staining (-1/2 point) and the run (- 1/2 point).
