1967-68 Ernie Banks Chicago Cubs Signed H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A9.5/JSA)

Offered is a professional model Ernie Banks game used H&B Lousiville Slugger dating to his tenure with the Chicago Cubs circa 1967-68. Model S2 stamped on knob alone with Ernie's uniform number 14 & a "36" handwritten notation in black marker. Banks has also signed the barrel in black marker with an additional notation adjacent to the Powerized stamping. Bat currently measures 36", weighs 35.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks and some grain swelling. Handle remains uncracked. MEARS A9.5 final grade, with a 1/2 point deduction for autograph inscription removal. (88Q0253)
