Offered is a Nebraska Cornhuskers home jersey dating to Mike Kennedy tenure with the team circa 1964-65. Kennedy was one of the first Cornhuskers defenders to don a famed "black shirt" in practice, a tradition which continues to this day as a representation of the strong defensive units fielded by Nebraska over the last 50+ seasons. Spanjian size 46 tag sewn to tail with a Gerry's Sport Shop Lincoln Nebraska tag while Kennedy's uniform number 69 is sewn to the front, back and sleeves of the red durene jersey in white tackle twill.
