Offered is an original 1964 Harley Davidson golf cart, used by the Braves to carry relief pitches to the mound at County Stadium.
The Indian brave’s mostly shaved head is thrown back, the smiling mouth open wide as though he has just slain a buffalo with one arrow.
It’s the hand painted face of the old Milwaukee Braves mascot, and it decorates the front and back ends of a 1964 Harley Davidson golf cart. The two-seat vehicle, which once purred out to the mound at County Stadium carrying relief pitchers, is featured at MEARS Auctions.
Cart was owned by Bill Priaulx, a former golf cart dealer who had it in storage over 45 years ago. Cart was used by the Braves during the 1964 and 1965 seasons.
