Offered is a New York Yankees road jersey dating to Billy Gardner's 1961 stint with the World Series Champions. Spalding and size 44 tag sewn outside tail with a laundry instructions and a 1961 year tag sewn inside the tail while "New York" and number 12 are also sewn to the grey flannel jersey. Extended organizational use evident with a faded name ("Provenzano") written in the collar and restored New York on the front, though number on back appears to be original. Heavy wear with a repair and fabric hole on the reverse & two replaced buttons on the front. Additional Heritage COA will also attend. (65O0675)
