Offered is a game worn Minnesota Vikings helmet likely dating to circa 1961-68. Riddell RK2 & Reconditioning decals applied inside shell which also features a 12 strap suspension system with a cracked rubber central pad & size 7 1/4 stamped. Piece of red tape with number 28 written in black marker also applied inside shell with Dick Haley (1961), Tom Hall (1964-66) and Earl Denny (1967-68) wearing number 28 for the Vikings throughout the 1960's. Original facemask is also present thought the adjoining clips have all snapped. Heavy wear shown. (96X0328)
