1961-67 Roger Maris New York Yankees Cardinals Adirondack Professional Model Team Index Game Bat (MEARS A6)

Issued during the height of Maris's popularity, this 1961-67 label period bat was manufactured by Adirondack and consistent with the model ordered by the team, the 307C. As a team index bat, the bat's length 35" and weight 36 ounces, is consistent with what Maris ordered during his playing career. 307C is stamped on the knob. Bat exhibits heavy game use, with some flaking to the barrel stampings. Final Grade MEARS A6. Base grade 5 points for bat being consistent with team index length and weight, 3 points for heavy game use, minus 1 for flaking to barrel stampings, minus 1 for deadwood/nails on reverse and barrel end discoloration.
