The nodder doll gods have smiled on MEARS Auctions again. We have been fortunate to have previously offered two of the hobby’s finest Green Bay Packers promotional nodders,

Keeping with the tradition of naming new finds, we titled this nodder, the “Old Fashion Attic Find”. As recently as one month ago, this example was nestled in the attic of a home on the outskirts of the Packers Milwaukee County Stadium home. It is our belief this was the counter display of a Milwaukee area five and dime store, most likely Gimbels or the Boston Store.
Nodder stands a whopping 14” tall, and served as a promotional store display at the point of purchase where the smaller 5 ½” counterparts were sold.
Regarding condition, the nodder is in its original condition, remaining high gloss, near perfect paint and decal, and original sticker on bottom of the base. Unlike many nodders that now enter the market, this example is free from touchups and restoration. A hair line crack which starts in the face and runs into the bottom of the front neck area is the only blemish on this outed gem.
