Robinson Ray, Sugar, Boxer. Date Stamped Mar 29, 1958. Also included; Joe Louis & Carmen Basilio. Housed in original file envelopes. Direct from the archives of the Chicago Sun Times. Mint condition.

When understanding the process of vintage photography, it is a fact that the original Acetate File Negative is the rarest of the rare. Each image is one of a kind as captured on the file negative. These are first generation negatives, not to be confused with reproduction file copies, or second generation negatives. Each print that enters the market derived from an original File Negative. Most are dated to the specific time of use. In these instances where the negative was dated, we included the date in the listing. To protect the pedigree, the official "Chicago Sun Times" hologram has been carefully placed on each negatives' original file envelope. CST hologram and MEARS Auction LOA.
