Milwaukee Braves collectors know that Johnny Logan game used bats are extremely rare. Although the following bat was not ordered by Logan, it was manufactured to his exact specifications for the "Braves Sentinel" young baseball players instructional league. Aaron, Mathews, Spahn, and Logan conducted actual baseball seminars at Milwaukee County Stadium. It is unknown whether or not the big league instructors used these bats, or if there were intended for the attendees.
What is a fact, is this bat, measuring 34" and weighing 31.2 ounces, is professional quality and measuring to the exact specifications of a Logan gamer. Model S188 stamped on knob. “Braves Sentinel Silver Sluggers” stamped on barrel. Shows heavy use with scattered ball marks. Has a 13” handle crack with nail repair. Autographed by Logan in black sharpie.
A truly rare piece of Milwaukee Braves history. (66P0063)
