1957: Lions Overcome 24-Point Halftime Deficit to Beat Colts

Offered is a Wilson Official National Football League Bert Bell football which was used during the Detroit Lions 31-27 comeback victory over the Baltimore Colts on October 20, 1957 at Briggs Stadium before being caught by the original owner on a point after try. A ticket stub from the game for seat 8 in row Y of section 4 will also attend as will a printed game summary with a notarized signature from the original owner. Colts points after were kicked by Bert Rechicar during the game while Bobby Layne handled the same duty for the Detroit Lions. Other notable players/coaches participating in the game included Weeb Ewbank, Johnny Unitas, Alan Ameche, Lenny Moore, Raymond Berry, Jim Mutscheller, Art Donovan, Gino Marchetti, Milt Davis, John Henry Johnson, Yale Lary, Jack Christiansen, Jim David, Joe Schmidt, Lou Creekmur, Dennis McCord, Harley Sewell and more.
