1955 Phil Rizzuto New York Yankees “St. Petersburg Times” Original 6.5 x 7.5 News Photo (“St. Petersburg” Hologram/MEARS LOA)

Hall of Famer and Yankees great Phil Rizzuto tries on a pair of crazy specs in this vintage (approximately) 6.5" x 7.5" photograph.

Reverse includes: date stamps, affixed cutlines, date stamps, written notations and a St. Petersburg Times hologram.

The St. Petersburg Times traces its origin to the West Hillsborough Times, a weekly newspaper started in Duedin, Florida in 1884. This is an original photo, in many cases a Type 1 printed at the time of the event. File copies or type 2 photos are also found, and can be distinguished by the markings on the reverse.
