Offered is a New York Giants home jersey which appears to have been originally issued to Roger Bowman for his 1951 season with the team. AG Spalding & Bros, size 40 and "Bowman 38" tags sewn in collar with 51 embroidered on the tail while "Giants" and number 8 are also sewn to the flannel jersey. Heavy wear with the outline of a removed numeral on reverse indicating jersey likely saw extended organizational use following its original 1951 issuance. (82G0253)
