Offered is a professional model Ted Williams H&B Louisville Slugger team index bat dating to his tenure with the Boston Red Sox circa 1951-60. Model W166 stamped on knob along with uniform number 9 written in black marker. Bat currently measures 34", weighs 31.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, deadwood, a repaired handle crack and a small area of discoloration adjacent to the center brand from where it appears something was removed at some point.
