1950's Riddell RT2 Game Worn Football Helmet w/ Clear Facemask (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a game worn Riddell football helmet featuring a unique clear facemask which likely dates to circa the 1950's. Interior of helmet features a Riddell RT2 decal & a suspension system composed of three looped straps with a rubber pad while the exterior features number 13 decals applied to the reverse. Helmet is very similar in style to Green Bay Packers helmets of the era (see attached photos) though a definitive attribution cannot be made without supporting provenance. Helmet remains in excellent overall condition. (16R0764)
