Offered is a game worn Riddell RT-2 suspension helmet, the first model helmet ever manufactured and sold by Riddell. Tag in helmet reads "RT 2 Helmet Use Only Tenite Lacquer to Repaint John T. Riddell Inc." Helmet also features a three point, six strap suspension system, with three patent numbers printed on the center joint. A faded number 7 is written in two locations on helmet's interior. Heavy use shown throughout. (A0261)
