Featured in this lot of 16 photos is longtime baseball man and Hall of Famer Connie Mack. Also pictured with Mack in this collection are Al Lang, Don McNeill, Herbert Hoover, Cy Young, H.L Thornton, William Harridge, Bill Klem and Mrs. Connie Mack. Photos contain various date stamps, handwritten notation and affixed cutline on their reverse. Measurements range from 5.5" x 6.5" to 8" x 10". St. Petersburg Times Holograms. (J0512)

The St. Petersburg Times traces its origin to the West Hillsborough Times, a weekly newspaper started in Duedin, Florida in 1884. This is an original photo, in many cases a Type 1 printed at the time of the event. File copies or type 2 photos are also found, and can be distinguished by the markings on the reverse.
