Offered is a Notre Dame Fighting Irish football helmet attributed to Mike Ganey who lettered from 1943 to 1945. Exterior of helmet is painted gold while the interior features an 8 strap suspension system with a faded stamping on the center piece which appears to have read "AirLite Rubber Padded Cushion" at one point. A 7" x 9" wire photo dated to the 1947 season showing Notre Dame coach Frank Leahy standing with team captain George Connor wearing the same style helmet will also attend. Heavy use shown. (79G0163)
