1942 Winston Churchill and Wife "The Chicago Sun-Times" Original 4" x 5" B & W Negatives (Chicago Sun-Times Hologram/MEARS Photo LOA) - Lot of 8

Wartime hero Winston Churchill along with his wife, Clementine, are the focus of this eight-piece collection of negatives. Churchill is depicted individually as well as visiting one of the convoy ships that had just returned from Russia, acting as the Prime Minister of Britain. The negatives measure 4" x 5". Chicago Sun-Times hologram. (C2156)

Originating directly from the vaults of "The Chicago Sun-Times", these black and white negatives produce the highest quality of images. "The Chicago Sun-Times" employed the very best professional photographers, and the images submitted to the paper were the best of the best. Despite the exact date of use or publication being unknown, each image was hand selected for its subject, clarity, and richness of image. Although there is no actual print offered, (negative only), you have the ability to produce a high quality print for your own personal use. Each black and white negative is housed in a protective envelope which bears the official "Chicago Sun-Times Archives" hologram, used to insure the pedigree of each image.
