Marilyn Monroe, sorry Norma Baker, sticks out like a sore thumb on her sophomore high school photo in this listing.
We are pretty sure boy's knees turned into jelly when Norma pranced around University High School in west Los Angeles in 1942.
This annual shows the earliest Monroe photo we have ever seen as page 48 showcases a small image of the woman destined to become the most noteworthy blonde bombshell of them all. There is water damage on some of the inside pages, including a few slight marks on the bottom of the main page. But we are pleased to report, the photo of Monroe is unaffected.
We combed through the other pages but could find no other images of the starlet. What no cheerleading or tennis? What is most perplexing to us is that Monroe had no role in the school play. Must have been a late bloomer.
