Iowa's Nile Clark Kinnick Jr. is presented the Heisman (one of the first ever awarded) by Downtown Athletic Club president Walter P. Holcombe in this vintage (approximately) 6" x 8" photograph.

Reverse includes: date stamps, affixed cutlines, date stamps, written notations and a St. Petersburg Times hologram.

The St. Petersburg Times traces its origin to the West Hillsborough Times, a weekly newspaper started in Duedin, Florida in 1884. This is an original photo, in many cases a Type 1 printed at the time of the event. File copies or type 2 photos are also found, and can be distinguished by the markings on the reverse.
