Seven-time All-Star Ken Keltner, who spent all but one year of his career in Cleveland, toted this Hillerich & Bradsby bat at some point between the 1937 and 1944 seasons. The bat's label period is 1934-44 and features a pre-model number, matching known player factory records. The player's last name appears in block lettering. The bat measures 36" and weighs 30 ounces. The item was used primarily (if not entirely) during regular season play. The ash bat has a handturned regular knob, round barrel and natural finish.

The bat exhibits heavy use. There's a 10" crack extending through the handle tape, the presence of dead wood in the front and various cleat marks scattered throughout.

Final Grade (MEARS A6): 5 points assigned for bat matching factory records, 3 points assigned for heavy game use, minus one for divots on reverse barrel, minus one point for 10" handle crack which extends through the handle tape.
