Offered is a game worn football jersey which dates to the Cornell Big Red's 1935 season. Jersey is constructed of heavy maroon wool with a "Patented Oct 10 1916 - April 8 1924 Shea Knitting Mills Chicago" tag sewn in the collar while number 41 is sewn to the reverse in gray felt. Jersey also features a six button crotch piece with size 42 and "Patent Pending" box tags. Additionally, the original elbow padding still remains in the jersey's long sleeves. Accompanying the jersey will be a 1935 Cornellian yearbook which features images of the jersey in action, as well as player listings and a summation of the Bid Red's season. (60N0256)
