Offered is a professional model H&B Louisville Slugger dating to Ben Tincup's tenure with the Louisville Colonels of the American Association. Tincup was a member of the Cherokee Nation and one of the earliest Native Americans to play in the Major Leagues including a stint with 1915 NL Champion Philadelphia Phillies. His professional playing career spanned thirty years from 1912-42 with much of that time (1919-31) spent as a member of the Colonels.

Bat currently measures 34.25", weighs 38 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, grain swelling, slight deadwood and a 4" H style handle crack (-1/2 point). Barrel also features side writing which reads, "Ben Tincup 4/23/27 Louisville, BBC". MEARS A9.5. (94T0143)
