Sent back to Louisville Slugger by Frank on 5-17-28 from Houston while he was in the Texas League, the mfg. dates place this bat during an era where it could have been used while he was with the Giants or Cardinals as well. It has dark side writing, which is easily read and has deep markings and a perfect furniture finish. It is 36”-38.1 oz, shows heavy game use mostly above the barrel stamp. There is evidence of the original shipping label back to Louisville as well. The bat has a clean 6” handle crack and grades an overall A9.5. Frank Elton Snyder (May 27, 1894 in San Antonio, Texas - January 5, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas), was a catcher in the Major Leagues from 1912-1927. He played for the New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals during the entire era playing in four World Series for the Giants (1921-24).
