In one of the most brutal heavyweight fights in boxing history, Jess Willard and Jack Dempsey tangled in what many dubbed David vs. Goliath.
While Dempsey was much younger than his counterpart, Willard, at 6-6 1/2", had a noticeable size advantage.
Dempsey planted champion Willard seven times in the first round and eventually put away his opponent.
From their July 4, 1919 fight is this full ticket for admission - the rare red version $60 ticket. Corner wear is apparent and two creases transverse the middle. A few light paper raises are visible as well and there are pencil notations on back. We estimate the grade as VG.
