Offered is a 7" x 61" photo capturing a panoramic view of the Army's 85th Division field meet at Camp Custer in Battle Creek, Michigan during October of 1917. A number of troops face the camera dressed in their long coats and campaign hats while many more are visible in the background observing the day's events, with wall climbing appearing to take center stage. "85th Division Field Meet Camp Custer Battle Creek Mich. October 1917" is printed bottom center while "Mary Hart Studio Chicago USA 3XGH" is printed in the lower left corner. Photo remains in excellent overall condition with a few creases present and measures 11" x 65" professionally framed. (63Q0105)
