Offered is a wooden beer keg originating from Jacob Ruppert Brewing Company, which was owned by Hall of Fame New York Yankees owner Jacob Ruppert, who famously changed the course of baseball history when he purchased Babe Ruth from the Boston Red Sox. Measures approximately 16" long by 12" tall by 43" around with "Jacob Ruppert" stamps still visible on both ends of the keg as well as around the barrel, which does have some cracking to the wood. Weighs approximately 26 pounds. A New York 1923 694-210 license plate measuring 6" x 16" is also included. (82G0279)
