Offered for sale is an original period copy of a speech given by Mr. Crittenden of Kentucky on the Resolution of Mr. Ewing to Rescind the Order of the Secretary of the Treasury Requiring Specie in Payment for Public Lands Delivered in the Senate of the United States on December 20, 1836. Also included in this lot is a period copy of a speech given by Honorable John L. Dawson of Pennsylvania on the Homestead Bill before the House of Representatives February 14, 1854. Both speeches have yellowed and stained paper from age.
