1800’s (Late) Mass. Band Uniform Tunic or Governor’s Guard?

Offered for sale is a red military themed band uniform or perhaps that of the Governor’s Guard for the state of Mass. There is an ink blot and the tunic is State of Mass. Marked. The buttons were all probably state of Mass. Seal buttons at one time but they were replaced with federal eagle buttons. There is a lot of speculation on this tunic so buy it and research it yourself and perhaps restore it if you wish. There is sun fading to the red and a button is missing on the front. The condition is used but still in pretty good solid condition. There is some mothing but not too serious.
