Offered is a World War I 22" x 33" encapsulated poster featuring the YMCA United War Work Campaign. The poster features a sketch of General John Pershing on the front of the poster with YMCA on the upper left corner. Other text on the item reads: "A sense of obligation for the varied and useful service rendered to the army in France by the Y.M.C.A. prompts me to join in the appeal for its further financial support. I have the opportunity to observe its operations, measure the quality of its personnel and mark its beneficial influence upon our troops, and I wish undeservedly to commend its work for the army. - Pershing. The bottom reads: United War Work Campaign November 11-18, 1918. The poster has significant tearing on the upper right and lower left corners.
