Offered is a professional model gold R3631 Pete Rose Mizuno bat dating to his 1981 season with the Philadelphia Phillies when he set the National League record for career hits by passing Stan Musial's career total of 3,630. Bat currently measures 34.5" & weighs 32.5 ounces with a pair of black marker signatures & inscriptions ("#3631 1981" & "Good Luck") from Rose on the sanded portion of the barrel, personally done by Pete Rose. Bat was used by Pete during the 1981 season before being banned by MLB for its flamboyant color scheme. Purchased directly from Pete Rose by Keith Vari in the late 1990s. PSA/DNA hologram/LOA 1B16822 will also attend. MEARS A10. (35K0032)
