Muhammad Ali wasn't just a great boxer and ambassador to his sport. He also participated in exhibitions from time to time.
This 20 1/2" x 29 1/2" on-site poster was used for promotion for Ali's boxing/wrestling match with Japanese hero Antonio Inoki. The fight was ruled a draw so each participant didn't have to explain a loss. While not well-received, it would be one of Ali's more unique contesst of his legendary career. This poster, in Japanese script, was used for promotion of the bout. There are one or two paper raises along with a slight rip and minor handling wear.
Overall, one poster which has eluded most Ali collections.
