Offered is a 20" x 26" framed display paying tribute to French General & Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte which is highlighted by a letter signed by Bonaparte. Rounding out the display are a likeness of Napoleon and vintage edition of Campaigns of Napoleon. Letter is written in French, though a translation has been provided which reads, "Lyon 20th of May year 10 of the French Republic To the minister of war, The troops assembled at Rochefort....and....one of the 100 homes, 250...of the 15th light...having already....for the army of Santo Domingo. It seems more suitable to take these detachments in the 3rd battalion of the 37th, which is in Nantes Nd which being a post of two thousand homes, will be able to support this approach without...I salute you, (signed)".
