During his swan song of 1928 with the Philadelphia Athletics, Ty Cobb finished his 24th major league season and finished with the most hits ever tallied by a major league ball player, 4,189. Some lucky fan crossed paths with the Georgia Peach during this last season, and Cobb signed this official 1928 ES Barnhard Official American League Baseball. The ball remains in remarkable excellent to near mint condition, with a visible "Ty Cobb, 1928" authentic signature. Full PSA Letter accompanies this lot.
