Offered are a pair of size 9 Tanel 360 cleats dating to the close of Robin Yount's tenure with the Milwaukee Brewers circa 1991-93. Yount's uniform number 19 written in faded black marker on the interior logo of each shoe while Robin has also signed the toe of each shoe in black marker. Moderate wear. These prototype shoes were produced by an upstarted company named Tanel. Robin Yount was selected to test the new brand. Several pairs were given to him and he wore them during the last few years of his career. MEARS president Troy R. Kinunen conducted an interview with former Brewers bullpen catcher Ronnie Nedset and he confirmed the relationship between Yount and Tanel. Yount did indeed wear this brand during spring training, warmups, and a few very limited games during the regular season (no photos currently exist to support that) according to Nedset. After experiementing with them, the inventory was given to Nedset who then released them into the hobby through various Milwaukee area dealers during the late 1990s. (31G0080)
