Offered is a Milwaukee Brewers batting helmet dating to circa 1970s. KM Pro Company & American Baseball Cap size 7 1/4 decals applied inside the helmet while Robin's uniform number 19 is applied to the reverse in white decal numerals. The letter dates the helmet to 1976, but per our research, the team had hand applied black numerals on the front of the brim. A direct contract to the large 19 applied to the reverse of this example. We are not sure when the team went to the numbers on the back, but we have to note the inconsistency of the letter. Therefore, we are attributing this helmet to Yount. Letter from former Brewers bat boy will also attend. Heavy wear with a loose back pad. (31G0077)
