Offered is an authentically signed, stunning, high quality, 16” x 20” photo of a very young rookie image of Hank Aaron. The signature was executed using a fresh sharpie, with “Hank Aaron, 5”. Hank Aaron wore #5 during his rookie season, and images are quite rare. Signed images of this quality are non-existent. Taken in front of the visiting team dugout at Milwaukee County Stadium, the young Aaron is just completing a warm up swing and looks towards the camera man. This limited edition signed print was hand developed from the original negative, in the darkroom, the old fashioned way. To my knowledge, this is the only time this image was offered in the over-sized 16x20 format. The finest signed example of this image extant. The entire project, image selection, and autograph signing was conducted under the supervision of MEARS founder and president, Troy R. Kinunen. The finest, earliest known image of Aaron extant.
