Offered is a 35" professional model A92 H&B Louisville Slugger dating to Roger Maris's penultimate season with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1967. Model A92 stamped on knob along with "35 oz" written in pencil (current weight is 35.5 ounces) & Roger's uniform number 9 written in black marker. Examination of H&B factory records reveals Maris only ordered the 35", 35 ounce A92 model on two occasions in March of 1967. Bat shows heavy use with ball marks, red bat rack marks, deadwood through the barrel with some separation which has been glued & chipping to the edge of the centerbrand (-2 cumulative). MEARS A8.
