Offered is a Philadelphia Athletics cap dating to Lou Limmer's 1954 season with the team, which marked the franchise's final season in Philadelphia before moving to Kansas City. Mitchell & Ness tag sewn to leather sweatband while remnants of size 6 7/8 & KM Pro Cap stampings are also visible in the deteriorated leather along with Limmer's uniform number 14 written in black marker on the underside of the brim. Heavy wear shown with deterioration of the leather sweatband and a some separation between the band and cap along the right side where the brim meets the cap. (88Q0124)
